Soft light. Sculptural scale. Quiet presence.
The AUSI Round Rice Paper Pendant Light brings the warmth of Japanese-inspired interiors into modern spaces through a simple spherical form and softly diffused glow. Made with warm ivory rice paper stretched over a lightweight ribbed frame, the lantern creates an atmospheric light that feels equally at home in minimalist, Japandi, wabi-sabi, organic modern, and contemporary interiors.
Available from a subtle 12-inch globe to an oversized 32-inch statement lantern, the collection is designed to work beautifully alone or clustered in multiple sizes at different heights.
Hang one over a dining table or bedside area, or combine several sizes to create an airy sculptural installation for a living room, entryway, staircase, restaurant, café, studio, or hospitality space.
The softly irregular texture of the paper is part of its character. When illuminated, the shade filters the light rather than exposing a harsh bulb, creating the warm ambient glow associated with traditional paper lantern lighting.

Styling Idea
For the look shown in our imagery, don't make every lantern the same size.
Try mixing 16", 20", 24", and 32" globes and suspending them at different heights. The negative space between the lanterns is what gives the installation its sculptural, architectural feeling.
This works particularly well for vaulted ceilings, dining rooms, stairwells, lofts, cafés, restaurants, boutique hotels, retail interiors, and event spaces.
