AUSI is a name rooted in the elements.

Au is the elemental symbol for gold — timeless, enduring, and shaped by the earth.

Si is silicon — one of the earth’s most abundant elements, naturally present in stone, sand, and minerals.

Together, Au + Si became AUSI.

The name reflects the materials at the heart of what we create: travertine, natural stone, wood, and metal. Materials that come from the earth, carry their own imperfections, and become more beautiful with time.

We believe a home should feel the same way — warm, grounded, personal, and slowly collected rather than simply decorated.

AUSI is our appreciation for things in their most honest form: the texture of stone, the grain of wood, the weight of metal, and the quiet beauty found in natural variation.

We are a small California-based business dedicated to sourcing and curating home decor and furniture crafted from natural materials including solid wood, travertine, stone, metal, and glass. Rather than chasing trends, we focus on pieces that bring warmth, texture, and lasting character into everyday spaces.

Many of our products are handcrafted, made to order, or produced in small batches by skilled workshops we work with directly. We spend countless hours sourcing, comparing materials, refining finishes, and selecting pieces we would proudly place in our own homes.
